Nagham Nassar is from Lebanon. She is a speech therapist by profession and works with the National YWCA of Lebanon as the National Youth Coordinator. She was recruited after her one year internship at the World Office, back in 2012. She has been a volunteer and an active member of the YWCA for more than 20 years. She is passionate about youth, women’s and human rights in general. She comes from an unstable country and region, where women are still marginalized and the laws still don’t protect them. Young Lebanese are fleeing the country to work abroad where the economic situation is stable. This irritates Nagham as she sees her country with great potential when the political situation becomes stable. She is a sociable person. She loves talking with people, getting exposed to new cultures and serving her association and country. She will be blogging about certain issues facing the young women and men in her country as well as in the region. She will also try to highlight in some blogs, the positive sides of where she comes from, as it is a piece of Heaven.
